On the island of Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos Islands, Amanresorts will open its first resort in the Caribbean, Amanyara ('peaceful place'). Nestled on the tip of a 2,025ha nature and wildlife reserve, the resort also provides immediate access to the pristine reefs of the Northwest Point Marine Park just offshore. Embracing a landscape of ponds and ocean, Amanyara is comprised of freestanding, contemporary ocean, beach and pond pavilions and two, three-bedroom villas, all of which feature shaded areas on three terraces with large sliding glass doors. Open to views and cooling sea breezes, designed for lounging, dining and sun-bathing, Amanyara reflects the colourful palette of the Caribbean.
